  1. Even separated like that, I think acoustic feedback would be a problem.

    1. i have my doubts, too. the turntable isn't plugged in and is sitting on a THIN piece of glass. the table 'looks' like it could be an older Garrard 301 which would put it near 50lbs. i suspect that is too much weight for the glass platform.

  3. If real, state of the art, late '60's, early '70's?

  4. I’ve seen this image before and always thought that it was very European in a 1960s way. Google says that it’s a system from 1965 branded as Braun Wandanlage designed by Dieter Rams. Who knows if the audio quality’s as sweet as the design?

  5. The image displays a legendary Braun Wandanlage wall unit stereo system designed by Dieter Rams in 1965.

It is considered a milestone in modernist design and audio history.

The system typically consists of a TS 45 receiver, TG 60 tape recorder, speakers, and a record player mounted on a Vitsoe shelf.

These units are rare and highly sought after by collectors, often described as functional art.

  6. It's not the Braun system.

If it really exists, it's Telefunken.
