And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Based in the terrain that is a desert bighorn, which is not a very big animal. Mine weighed less than 70 pounds quartered. He has a full, large pack almost certainly full of meat. Also of note, someone took the photo and they likely also have a pack full of meat. For all we know that person is standing by the truck. Most "Trophy hunters" are conservation minded, especially on animals that are either once in a lifetime draws or worth $20,000 a tag.
Well, ya got the horns......where's the meat?
ReplyDeleteUnless his backpack is full of meat from that longhorn that he shot, I tend to dislike "trophy hunters" immensely.
ReplyDeleteI'll second that. Shoot it, eat it, no problem. Shoot it and leave it, immense shame on you.

ReplyDeleteShowboat cowards to trophyhunt only.
ReplyDeleteI'd say horns come out last, but at that point I'm sidearm only, wouldn't still have the rifle with me.
