  7. So, I'm not the only one that thinks spending $650 on a coffee pot is a little over the top.

    Making good coffee has more to do with choosing the right beans, roast, and the proper ratio of grinds to water than anything else. A rounded TBLSP of 100% Arabica beans, medium roasted, ground fine, to about 1 cup of filtered cold water makes the best coffee IMHO.

    Tap water containing chlorine and/or water softeners should be avoided if possible. Well water with no additives is exceptional for coffee making.
