And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? Studies show that daily espresso intake staves off dementia
So, I'm not the only one that thinks spending $650 on a coffee pot is a little over the top.
Making good coffee has more to do with choosing the right beans, roast, and the proper ratio of grinds to water than anything else. A rounded TBLSP of 100% Arabica beans, medium roasted, ground fine, to about 1 cup of filtered cold water makes the best coffee IMHO.
Tap water containing chlorine and/or water softeners should be avoided if possible. Well water with no additives is exceptional for coffee making.
Only reason I’d buy this shiny coffee maker for $784 &$%! dollars was If I HAD dementia.
ReplyDeleteHeh. You would then deny yourself one of the pleasures of life. To each his own,
DeleteI had a similar Breville. Made the coffee alright, but the steamer was crap.
ReplyDeleteWhat are you even talking about, I got one for a Mother’s Day gift for my wife. It’s the best thing I ever bought.
ReplyDeleteLooks nice, but I really like cold brew coffee: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PWRHV3mMU70
ReplyDeleteBy coincidence I just found this very short and interesting video on Italian coffees.
