And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Quiet would be nice, but how quiet could it really be?
I have one and while not absolutely silent, I can vouch for its low-level noise. The old Shop*Vac brand sounds like an F-4 Phantom spooling up for take-off.
Quiet would be better but just having one I have found to be essential (from time to time). Wet carpet or other water messes these can't be beat! With a quiet one you could dry damp carpet after 2300 hrs without bothering the neighbors..

I have one and love it. Its very quiet. I also have a Ridgid with a muffler and the Dewalt is much quieter.
ReplyDelete12g is a big one and 65 dB is what the chart says for the noise. I looked up the small one I have and it's sound level is not even mentioned...
