And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I've driven lots of RWD cars in the snow, but they didn't have as much power as that Jag. Just keep some weight in the trunk - I used to throw a few 20 lb bags of cheap kitty litter in there. It's always fun to goose the rear end around corners.
Jaguar XJ220, only 275 built. It was briefly the fastest car in the world at 217mph before the McLaren F1 hit 231mph. Aluminium honeycomb construction with an F1 style fuel bladder feeding a mid-mounted turbocharged V6. Al_in_Ottawa
That would be a big NOPE. When you have a car that will test the envelope in dry conditions, then you throw it into limited traction environment, it is a perfect storm to put the car in the ditch.
In that weather don't get it out to begin with.
ReplyDeleteRear wheel drive. Bad in snow and ice.

At first glance, I thought it was an upside down car. ;-)
