And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I was thinking that when they decommission the Nimitz they convert it into a vehicle transport. Put the EV's on the flight deck and if any catch fire... "Fire the catapult!"
Vehicle transport. There's one in Charleston Harbor almost all the time, picking up Volvos and BMWs, plus delivering Mercedes Sprinter Vans.

Delete"John the River" seems to have figured out a viable solution versus mothballing worn out US Navy boats.
