And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I have been on a few C-17's headed back to Charleston for maintenance to catch a leg home. If it is the Air Guard they would find a way to get me onboard. If it was the Active Duty guys, it could go either way. The next tricky part was getting from Charleston to Brunswick GA. That usually involved a car rental.
Spent the majority of my career working on that program with McDonnell Douglas and Boeing; awesome hardware. Sure do wish they had made a couple hundred more!
