And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
An architectural icon of the 20th century, a (mostly?) empty building in the 21st. Is/will be extremely expensive to turn into living spaces. Is it worth it to keep it as is, or should it be torn down to rebuild something that can be better used?
Precious few buildings and modern apartments remain of an era of architecture that reflect artistic expression at all…even guess most towns are plagued with the eyesore of “modern architecture “ in apartment buildings in particular! that resemble penal colonies rather than homes
