  1. HMS Repulse?

  2. Nope, either HMS Nelson or HMS Rodney. Repulse had twin 15” turrets forward, one aft. The Nelson class had triple 16”, all forward of the superstructure.

  3. Can only be HMS Rodney or HMS Nelson. The RN was playing by the rules of the Washington Naval Treaty of 1922. Battleships were limited to 35,000 tons and 16" guns so placing the three turrets and their magazines together reduced the area that had to be covered by armour that was 14 inches thick. The Tirpitz (53,000 tons), Yamato (64,000 tons), and Iowa class battleships (60,000 tons) did not comply with any treaty so they were laid out with fore and aft turrets.
