And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Dodge Madness - probably the ugliest Dodge that will ever be made
A message from professor Bogside on human behavior and rides: When you're behind the wheel of a car or truck you can't see the outside so enjoy what a motor vehicle was meant for. Shift it into drive, stomp on the gas pedal and enjoy the thrill of the ride no matter what it looks like. On the other hand visual beauty satisfaction can be sated by things you can see, taste or feel on the outside like hot young, voluptuous women. However, unless you’re a millionaire and were a friend of Jeffrey Epstein you're restricted to ogling to your heart’s content and mentally enjoying the ride.
Mid 67 or later. 66s & early 67s had the small rear window. My 67 had the I think better looking small rear glass. And the 66 and back tail lights were round.
As the owner of a 59 I hated when they went to that wide body. Always liked mopar but Ford definitely made the best looking trucks starting in the late 60s.
Eye of the beholder .. and all that.
ReplyDeleteSlant 6 ?

ReplyDeleteBeing a millionaire today is not what it it used to be. Maybe 10 plus million but not just saying a millionaire. Or maybe 50 million. We can all dream
DeleteI am not sure of the year, but judging by the sideline swoosh that truck may be too old to have a slant-six. That engine didn't appear until 1959.
ReplyDelete....So far....
ReplyDelete1966 or '67...
ReplyDeleteUGLY? Heck no! It is beautiful...
ReplyDeleteit's a truck
ReplyDeleteDont forget the Omni
ReplyDeleteThe Dodge Omni was MotorTrend's Car of the Year!
DeleteDodge called it the Sweptline and the first four years were even uglier with their twin headlights. This one is a '66 or '67.

DeleteDodge hasnt made a good looking truck since 1936
ReplyDeleteNot as ugly as that custom Bronco above…eh, to each his own.
