  1. Fancy headlight bezels makes it an early 70s model I think. Mine was a lot more faded than this one. Miss it.

  3. I had a 72. A great fun ride. Took it into snow or deep sand. Never got stuck. But parts were stupid expensive. I remember a fuel pump at $245. Back then that was real money.

    1. In 1972 we fixed the old one.
Now, you throw it out and install a new one and complain about the price.

  5. I don't think IH spent a lot of money on styling.

    1. I was just thinking how old is new again, given some of the latest pickup designs that are here now or coming soon

  6. Drive through their under construction plant every 2 weeks on I-77 in Blythewood, SC on my way to CLT. Huge operation.

Found out Scout's a VW subsidiary. The Kraut gov't demanded all vehicles had to be EVs. No ICEs.

So, off-road vehicles electric? I don't think that Guv Henry will be laying wire & charging stations in the middle of the ACE Basin State Park. That's Colleton County, maybe 50 EVs there. None in the flora & fauna preserve.

You're familiar with that county, which is the Murdaugh Trial's venue in Walterboro.

They wanted it to be in Beaufort where we live and is that SC Judicial District's HQ. We deferred, as we ain't into zoos.
