And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Used to use mom's cloths pins strung on wire to hold those for target practice in the backyard. Glad to see we weren't the only ones that used them as targets.
Back in the 80's my office was just a couple of blocks from the New England Confectionery Company. At lunch time I often passed the building. The smell was great! Of course, they're gone now and the candy is made by someone else, but it's the same recipe and the same flavor. Brings back memories!
