And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
The small portable tables are disappointing. I bought one decades ago and quickly found the problems. Whether using them or not they have to sit somewhere. Stock longer than the table can be dangerous. It must be clamped down to whatever it is sitting on. I eventually got a full size full time rig. I think I still have the portable rig in the attic.
the aggravation is the thickness of the table top. you need a router with a chuck that protrudes an inch or more above the base plate. Lowes sells a Kobalt brand router that works. it has a removable collet for 1/4" and 1/2" shanks.

ReplyDeleteI mounted mine on a large metal stan and it works great. I use one finger board at the top and one holding wood tight to the fence
