And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Studebaker had almost no money for design at the end so they just gave their old models a facelift. It's a pity the Avanti didn't sell well enough to save the company. Looks like a 1962 Lark and GT Hawk. Al_in_Ottawa
Fun fact, a guy I know who lives a few blocks over, has an Avanti in the basement level of his two level garage. Has something of a hot rodded Corvette engine as I recall. Steve_in_Ottawa
I always thought the GT Hawk a handsome car, and I know that that year's Lark is a little under-appreciated: it was actually pretty "sporty" with an available 225 HP V8. Note the bucket seats in that red interior.
I think I like everything Studebaker.....and Rambler.
