  1. When I lived in the woods in Pennsylvania and we were prone to losing power far too often, I had a similar portable electric generator. It served me well.

  2. DeWalt makes neither generator heads nor gas engines. This is somebody else in a yellow paint job, with accompanying price markup. Check Firman, Wen, DuroMax or Westinghouse for the same thing at a few hundred cheaper. Oh, and "heavy duty"? Yabetcha. 8Kw running flat out.

    1. Yup! We have 2 of the Westinghouse 9500 dual fuel units, 12500 peak starting, 9500 continuous. If they start, they're great... when they don't, you're glad to have a 2nd one, ready to go, during an extended power outage.
