And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
On a guess, this lovely red headed young lady's photo was taken (maybe) in 1980 or so. Young ladies today don't look this wholesome or healthy. And they certainly don't look so ladylike.
Back in the 70's, Mom would sew dresses like that from paper patterns purchased at Sears and/or Montgomery Wards. Mom was a Great Depression child and practiced frugality at every opportunity. My family was not wealthy, but we had more than enough and enjoyed it without modern claptrap we see today.

ReplyDeleteHair is brown.
DeleteYou can think anything you want. Her hair is red to me.
DeleteWow. I love a battle of opinions.
DeleteToo bad I don't love a battle of egos between the usual suspect John and a guy that goes by the moniker of Anonymous.
Y'all need to grow up. But I know that will never happen.
You boys ever heard the term reddish brown hair? Well you are looking at it.
DeleteElmo's mom got his name from Sesame Street. Cool...
DeleteAnd John's mom got his name from the slang expression of toilet. Cool.
DeleteElmo - And that is no $hit!!! LOL!!!
DeleteI'd rate her overall an 8, but her amazingly sexy knees a minimum of 15.
ReplyDeleteTrue, Knees can make or break a great pair of legs.
DeleteKind of a toss-up which is sweeter... her or her ride.
ReplyDeleteDelicate and feminine. In 20 years she'll take half your stuff.
ReplyDeleteJudging by that ring on her finger, she's already in work on that.
DeleteJust Half? Not in my experience
DeleteShe is very lovely!
ReplyDeleteJust got her license??
ReplyDeleteJust, Wow!
ReplyDeleteWaaaait a minute- Isn’t that an EZ-Pass transponder on the dash? Is this photo retro-staged?
ReplyDeleteThat is not an EZ-Pass transponder. It is either a makeup container or a change holder for tolls.
