And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Arctic Char and Brook Trout will cross breed in the wild when they can and their offspring are not 'mules', so they are the same species in some places and not in others. The species have only been around since the end of the ice age so genetic exchange in on-going. Same goes for a host of salmonids ... a work in process.

ReplyDeleteThe fish in the image is a brook trout (a nice fat one) (Salvelinus fontinalis), which is actually a type of char, not a true trout.
