  1. Having used both wheel cutters and rocker cutters for chains you all know the names of, the rocker is by far the best way to go. Go to fast with a wheel and you can easily wind up with a half-moon cut. Much easier to cut a straight line with a rocker. If you've a tough crust, there's only so much down force with one hand, but with a rocker you've got both hands/arms to push through the first time. Rip through some hot ass cheese with a wheel and it flips up into your fingers like you need cheese-mud flaps. Not so much fun when you instinctively flip your hand to fling off the cheese and the cutter goes flying. Never such an issue with a rocker, which cuts more quickly in the heat of battle.

    1. My son just bought one of those and is cooking a pizza as I speak. He loves it and has probably thrown that wheel cutter in the trash. I doubt anyone could go wrong buying one.

    2. All true. Been using a rocker for 10 years and don't even own a wheel any more.

    3. If you're doing half-moons with a wheel you're doing it wrong and probably never did it right to begin with. I like the rockers for deep dish pizza or the like, but that's about it. That being said, it does have a place in your kitchen.

  2. Do they make one shaped like a Klingon bat'lith? Asking for a nerd friend.
