  1. WW1 Trench Broom. So hated by the Germans, they protested it was against the rules of civilized warfare.

    1. Yes, they protested the use of the Model 97, then used Phosgene, Chlorine, and Mustard Gas. Quite the little bunch of hypocrites.

    1. Any competent machinist can machine a flash suppressor to fit the hole in the hilt and a new bayonet lug that clamps over the barrel.

  7. Awesome tool combo. The ONLY thing wrong with a Rem. 870 is that if a round gets out of the mag (from rough handling) you have a single shot/club. That loose round, trapped under the follower, locks up the gun until you shove it back in the magazine. Have fun with that.
I'm a Mossberg 500 fan (they're almost bulletproof and open bottom follower), however, the Winchester 1200-1300 series (maybe others) are the fastest pump actions. Why? The recoil unlocks the action and gives you an assist on your next stroke. Some white guy (Browning?) came up with that. They have the same lock up problem as the 870. The fix is to cut, machine or grind a slot into your follower to insert a knife or screw driver blade.
