And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
A fast car is a good thing. But these doors? Good weather: fine. Rain/Sleet/Snow: notsomuch. Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should.
Assuming you can get to a parking space. If you have to take ticket to get the barrier to raise to gain entry you probably won't be able to get to the ticket!
People complaining about the convenience or utility of this vehicle really make me laugh. We’re talking about a car valued between $15 and $20 million. Do you know anyone who owns a car like that and chooses to drive it to the supermarket, through snow, or squeeze it into a UK-sized parking space?
When was the last time you saw a McLaren F1 on the road? Do you think convenience or utility played a role in the decision to purchase it?
Sure, you could gripe about the limited cargo space, lack of sliding doors for kids, poor towing capacity, or dismal gas mileage—but let’s be real, no one cares about those factors when they’re buying a 30-year-old supercar worth $15 million.

ReplyDeleteTry that in a UK sized parking space. You can go to the shops but you can't get out to buy anything!

In the words of Borat, "Can you tell me please where is installed the pussy magnet?"
ReplyDeleteBecause, really, that's about all that thing is good for.
Heaven knows, once you get in, you're not getting out until you either return home, or run out of gas.
Because you can't.
I've installed Lambo doors on a 911 and a Lexus 430. They are just stupid as the guy that paid me to do it.
