And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I don't even flip them off. Just learned to accept it and go on. That and had to have my middle finger 🖕 amputated on the driver's side. It can be rather inconvenient at times
Back in 1992, I was driving north on the 101 from Sunnyvale to San Francisco. I was in the #1 lane following a nice Acura. All of a sudden it veered left into the guardrail and ran along the guardrail for about 100 yards, shredding the driver side and throwing bits of chrome and glass in a trail behind it. I slowed down and pulled right, along with all the other traffic and passed the car. As I passed, I looked and it was some middle aged Asian lady at the wheel. She didn’t look scared so much as pissed or maybe dazed. It was early afternoon on a Sunday. As I looked in my rear view for the next couple of miles, I did not see her exit or even get into the right hand lane. It was very odd. That’s my story of female Asian drivers here in the USA.
Credits for keeping eyes on the road.
