  1. Made heavy equipment, huge machinery for dams and various industries and went out of business. Shame. Dozers now made in Poland.

  2. Those older trucks? Worth the effort and cost to fix them up. More reliable, tougher, and cheaper to restore (don't go crazy though) than buying one of these new traveling living rooms.

  3. It is because they were junk. My dad owned an IH dealership,,,, believe me, they were junk,,,, except they engines,,, when they would start,,,,,,, occasionally.

  4. Dad had an late 50's IH truck in the 60's when I was a kid. It was a beater. As best I can remember it had an inline 6 and a granny gear 4 speed.
