And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Those older trucks? Worth the effort and cost to fix them up. More reliable, tougher, and cheaper to restore (don't go crazy though) than buying one of these new traveling living rooms.
It is because they were junk. My dad owned an IH dealership,,,, believe me, they were junk,,,, except they engines,,, when they would start,,,,,,, occasionally.
Made heavy equipment, huge machinery for dams and various industries and went out of business. Shame. Dozers now made in Poland.

ReplyDeleteDad had an late 50's IH truck in the 60's when I was a kid. It was a beater. As best I can remember it had an inline 6 and a granny gear 4 speed.
