  1. Yeah, I'm old too. The age where we stayed by radio, waiting for a song to be played so that we could record it to hear any time we wanted. That was the teenage mid 1970's for me.

  4. Regarding relationships, go a litter further back in time with a plastic comb and an 8-track tape.

  7. Why use an "expensive" drafting pencil? A Dixon Ticonderoga does the trick just fine.

  10. Been there and done that. In fact, I still own a bunch of cassette tapes filled with incredible Doo-wop music but no player.

  11. In the 70's I used TDK & Memorex brands of 90 minute tapes. I could get an entire album on each side. Still have a bunch of them in a case around here some place.

  12. I have a Nakamichi 600 in my system that still plays cassettes quite nicely. Steve_in_Ottawa

  14. I would stay home, but my Winnebago is hankering to hit the highway.
    I have two cassette players, they trade off eating tapes.
