And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Find a woman that looks at you like Usha looks at JD.
Never mind the fact that she and her hubby support the unlimited immigration of H1-Bs from india to replace American engineers and technical workers. I agree with you most of the time, CW, but on this issue, I don't.
Having worked with some of these people, I have nothing but loathing for them; I had to babysit about 50 of them on a contract even though I was a mere designer and they were (allegedly) Master's degree engineers. In my professional opinion, they are technically less competent than sub-Saharan "engineers", and more arrogant than the more extreme American ghetto queens, especially the higher caste ones.
all this aside i think if trump gets elected jd will be the next president he will probably compete with newsom who is a tough competitor. we need jd bad he was masterful in the debate!
Once read a thread on another board where Sumdood was crushing on her, and he had this whole fantasy about how if only he could meet Usha and talk to her, he'd somehow convince her to divorce J.D. Vance and become a Democrat. People have the weirdest fantasies. Kinda creeped me out because he was crushing on a married woman. Maybe it's just me; I find out someone is married and my attraction instantly goes to zero.
So this is who we love now? A San Francisco venture capitalist who turned his back on his people as soon as he could that is married to an Indian San Francisco high power lawyer who puts career over family. A guy who flipflopped on every conceivable position. From abortion to trans issues to whether Trump is Hitler or a hero.
I'm asking because up until 2 minutes ago these were the people we despised. Would we still love them had Trump picked a different VP?
You seem to be reading too much that the libtard media has put out. JD met his wife in Law School when they were both students.
One good thing about being an adult: When you learn more about a person or thing, you can change your mind and opinion. Look at the iconic American leader, Ronald Reagan. He was a for-$hit libtard for a good portion of his life and then he pulled his head out of his azz and when he woke up and began thinking with his brain (instead of his heart)... he became a true American patriot.
Not sure what you mean by 'turned his back on his people' but I see a decent guy trying to serve his country (after already serving his country in uniform), who might have a different opinion than me on some issues, but I will take him over any (D). ~ Doctor Weasel
Seems to me most of us in Cali who follow CW are only 4 or 5 generations away from legal migration ourselves and may have occupationally displaced someone.
better yet, be the kind of man that deserves to be looked at like that.
ReplyDeleteAgree with the "Be the Man" statement. They make a mighty fine looking family.

Monk, are you sure we disagree? This post wasn't about immigration.
DeleteI was in IT too. You are exactly right. They’re totally stuck up and poor workers.

I wonder what those "red dots" say about their American bosses?
DeleteWell of course she looks at her free pass to America like that...wait a few years .
ReplyDeleteShe’s a US citizen, parents are legal immigrants.
