And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I've been using the Rivers bigger brother, Delta, for the past 3 years. My entire office computer system is ran off of it. (A Windows XP machine, a Windows 10 machine, 2 notebook computers, 2 tablets, 2 cellphones, 2 28" monitors, 4 LED desk lamps, 1 Moukey stereo receiver and speakers, 1 TCL 42" TV) When the municiple power goes out my rig just keeps on working, not even a flicker. The Delta and panels cost about $1500 3 years ago.
How LONG does it keep going? This one's 245 wH- maybe 10 minutes for the load you describe. The bigger Delta might be 2000 wH, which with the load you describe would run for an hour or two if everything was in use. Figure 300 watts per computer & monitor/TV and ignore the rest = 1500 watts. Probably a bit low, but ballpark. Not denying a UPS power backup isn't a good thing- it is. For short glitches, sure. These things have their place, but they aren't the panacea the advertisers claim.
