  1. I've been looking for another bread maker, I usually look for a used one but I can't find any at my usual run of thrift stores... zero. Well there was a used one at the Hospice Thrift store but they wanted $50 for it! Way too much.
A bread machine is good if you like to experiment with different breads, it will do the mixing & kneading of pizza dough too! Pretty useful tool in my world.

Here is an easy bread you can make, seriously easy & it's turned out well for me. https://youtu.be/JwLo010f8j0 this video is a short, if you put the captions on you can see what what you need to try it & it is almost as easy as she makes it look!
If you ever wanted to try making bread you don't have to knead & you have the needed dutch oven you ought to give this a try.

  2. I make no-knead bread about once a week lately. Got some going in the Dutch oven right now....my wife loves it.

  4. Why does everyone think kneading is so difficult? Stretch fold fold. Turn stretch fold fold. Turn. Stretch, lift up dough, fold in half. Repeat until dough is smooth. Stop stretching when the surface starts to tear.

    1. Yep, I make bread by hand every sunday for the week. Churn my own butter too.

  5. My wife used to use one of those. Then we inherited a stand mixer with dough hook from my aunt. The mixer produces noticeably better bread.
