And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I never figured out what was with that box toe. They look like a bull nose shovel. Boots are designed to fit easily into stirrups. That toe won't do that. They have to be uglier than anything I can remember seeing. 'Cepting, maybe, those Mexican pointy toes that are four feet long. But they are close. I admit, it took me a long time to get used to rounded toe boots. But I finally did. Well, not ropers...
Geez, ugly boots. Second most comfortable boots I own are kangaroo ropers, Lucchese's, so light. Probably 25 years old now, and almost like wearing slippers. First are some simple calfskins, high tops, hand made at Armando's in Raymondville. Super comfortable. Picked the hides out myself. Never thought I would like boots and waited until I could afford a well-made pair, and that changed it all.
m9777 says: Nacona Boots were my favs. Their kidskins were very flexible and comfortable. Got bought-out by Justin. Never the same. Smoothe ostrich by Lucchese is my fav today. My feet won’t tolerate pointed toe models.
Of the dozen or so of cowboy boots I have had two that were of exotic reptilian leather. They were also the most expensive and quite uncomfortable,

ReplyDeleteThis one has a walking heel, not a ridng heel. And yes, it's ugly. Reminds me of Dingos from the early 70s.
DeleteCan't hardly find anything else.
DeleteMr Fancy Pants skidz.
ReplyDeleteOne punch in the face and his pussy explodes.
Ugly boots make good work boots cuz you don't really care if you fuck them up....
ReplyDeleteNice leather, is about all the good I can say about those boots. Give me a pair of pointed toe Tony Lamas.
