Over the last eight months, global temperatures over land have cooled a record 1.2 C. November is seeing record cold in Russia and South Australia, so we should see the record cooling trend continue.
Satellites are the most accurate measurement device, avoiding urban heat islands and measuring otherwise awkward places, like oceans.
Just an unusual spike downward, nothing to worry about. However, if Mastodons and Cave Bears suddenly reappear in Siberia (which would be great), then worry.
