Another hero for today's America

The true hero of this election is the mainstream media's polar opposite, Julian Assange, the man whose life is literally endangered while living under virtual house arrest in the Ecuadorian embassy in London. It is he—and his organization—who truly reports the news undistorted and unbiased through undisputed primary sources. It is he who has revealed to our country and the world how power works.

I'm waiting for the day when someone will publicly call out the mainstream media on this.  Their failure is total, their blindness is complete.  To have to go to Julian Assange for the truth is simply pathetic.

I totally agree with Roger Simon here:

"What Assange has shown us is that the situation is far worse than any of us imagined, that the power of global elites is so great that political parties are almost irrelevant. These elites endanger our republic and the world to such a degree that transparency is mandatory.
While we should all respect, indeed yearn for, the protection of the freedoms of the individual private citizen, WikiLeaks demonstrates that our leaders, by choosing to take the power they have, should forego their privacy for the public good (except in national security situations, which Mrs. Clinton treats cavalierly anyway.)"

It is true that every nation has a lot of ruin in it, but nevertheless there comes a point when it is ruined.  If Mr. Assange's revelations save us from what I believe would be a disastrous four years of progressivism coupled with corruption, he is indeed and truly a hero.

Meanwhile, this might not be a bad idea, at least for a few prominent ones, so the others will take notice.
