One year ago, in a attempt to handle a wild crop of basil, we made this

 Basil Jelly - said to be a nice replacement for mayo in BLTs or as a glaze for seared chicken or shrimp

  1. Garlic Jelly (if you can find it) is most excellent on a bagel with cream cheese. I've only encountered it in Ashville, NC. No where to be found on the NW side of the Smokies.

      It has been a while since I've looked around for it. The Old Mill is less than an hour drive for me. Normally I avoid Pigeon Forge like the plague but, I might just have to make an early morning reconnoiter mission. ;)
