And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? While that is in County Cork it is not in Cork city proper. That looks to actually be Cobh. Gorgeous little town, last port of call for the Titanic and the embarkation point for a significant number of the emigrants who headed to the New World during the famine years. Fascinating museum about the Irish famine and diaspora along the shore. Also, that church is where the bodies from the Lusitania were laid out as it was sunk just offshore.
Been there. Cool place.
