It's going to be an interesting campaign on the Republican's side, but boring and conventional on the Democrat side.
Some reasons this the idea of cutting down the size of government is important to Americans:
The federal government tracked billions of phone calls for decades.
Is anyone running against Hillary for the Democratic nomination - or it is going to be a coronation convention?
ReplyDeleteA coronation. I'd personally like to see her literally crowned, since it seems the best the country can do is elect either a Clinton or a Bush, our competing royal families.
DeleteA Clintonian monarchy - with Chelsea-the-first waiting until the Queen mother dies. Chelsea could hurry the process by poisoning the old harridan's tea. (harridan defined: HARRIDAN. A hagged old woman; a miserable, scraggy, worn-out harlot: derived from the French word HARIDELLE, a worn-out jade of a horse or mare.)
DeleteAmericans are tired of career politicians swamped in scandal.
ReplyDeleteFew politicians honor the oath they swore to.
Rand Paul and Ted Cruz are two exceptions.
I certainly am tired of it. Hopefully one of the other, or even Scott Walker, can fight through the Republican establishment and be nominated.
