Check out the Roberts electric car, built in the last decade of the 1800's, it gets a solid 40 miles per charge, exactly the same as the great progressive leap forward that is the Chevy Volt!

So why did the government spend millions on the Volt when they could have simply revived the old Roberts brand used the exact same technology?  The more things change.....
