And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I am not a big fan of rhubarb, but buying fresh produce from the farmer is my cup of tea. There is nothing like beets pulled from the ground the day before you take them home and enjoy their insanely wonderful flavor.
Makes me sad. My local green grocer recently gave up the ghost due to the twin problems of rapidly increasing lease payments and as he got older lifting the produce on the off the truck became harder and he could find no younger men that wanted to work for him.
