Tool Art

  1. I was just talking to a mechanic friend about the Snap-on salesman coming by, taking an order and then him having to pay off the tools for a long time.

  2. I found a 3/4" snap on ratchet on the road at an intersection.

Worst ratchet I have ever used.

Handle is too skinny and very slippery with greasy hands.

The direction lever is nice though, but kinda small - just flick it with the thumb - one handed operation.

Snap on stuff is way over rated and waaaay too expensive.

    2. You got that right! But that's only half of it.
That ratchet had on it, get this, a 1-1/16" deep set 12 pt socket.
When did you ever see one of them?
Everyone that I showed it to has never seen one before.

  4. From the looks of the set, they're probably pretty close to paid off.

  5. I still have a small Craftsman socket set from 1977. My dad got it for me so I could work on my bike and the lawnmower I used around the neighborhood.
