  1. they try to bluff you if they can. used to work for a university that had a lot of the students scared to death of the resident goose population. funny as hell to see a grown human run from a goose.

  2. When your problem is "the geese/ducks are taking over" and you don't hear about solutions involving shotguns or punt guns... :::smdh:::: Of course change the animal to 'feral cats' and substitute .22 LR or 5.56 NATO, and you get different conversations.

  3. Canada geese are kind of cool looking, but they leave green $hit all over the place. And beware! If your dog eats any of the goose poop, they may get pancreatitis.

    1. The place I work sits on a bluff, and I'm on the second floor with a window. The Sacramento River runs by right at the base of the bluff and it draws lots and lots of birdlife. These Canadian geese fly by often at eye level, and let me tell you, as big as they are, they can book it if they decide to. Amazingly fast.

    3. Yes, if you mention "Canadian" Geese to a Canuk they have a $hit fit because the big birds do not belong to Canada. They prefer Canada Geese.

  6. Farmer next door had a terrible geese population, well over a couple hundred, they nest in his fields near his spring ponds, and flatten a few acres of hay every year. Its really cool, flying over the house, a 50 goose gaggle all honking away, echos off the hills, really something to see.

  7. Years ago just for a gag bet, caught one by throwing a hoody over it, grabbed it between my legs by its wing roots, totally blew my mind how strong it was, and honk away! All i could do to hold onto that thing.

  8. Lawn Carp. If they infest your pond, buy a battery operated fountain to agitate water and a few fake plastic white swans. They leave.
