More details, and I nominate Mel Gibson to direct

And then there's this little tidbit...

And then there's THIS!  Holy Frijole.

    2. You’re saying I should be excited about something we already supposedly did almost 60 years ago?? Unpatriotic?? You need to sniff what you’re shoveling.. You clearly have no ability to think critically.

  2. Nothing special.
The democrats had a similar heroic operation back in 2000 giving six-year old Elián González back to Cuba.

    1. I watched it unfold - and as I watched it, I still couldn't believe it was happening.
To me, born in early '41, this was the worst moment in U.S. history in my lifetime - worse even than the Afghanistan boondoggle.

  3. Let's wait for the TRUE STORY to come out first.

    1. Agreed. There is always wisdom in adhering to the 48 Hour Rule, and especially here. There will be an After Action Report written eventually, but I'm willing to wait until the unfolding actions are complete and to have some, if not most of the important details withheld from public view.

    2. Come on. Don't be so pessimistic. These are the latest bits of news. You sound like you are hoping for bad news. If so, you must be a Democrat.

    3. Not a Democrat...just someone who knows that governments lie, and truth is the first casualty of war.

    1. You do know we destroyed those aircraft ourselves, right? That fact has been widely reported and accepted. They got 'stuck' so we destroyed them rather than let them fall into enemy hands. Nice try though.

  10. Calm down, people. Mattis and Milley and Kelly are gone. Along with the demotions of the DEI top military brass. Maybe the new leadership can do this. At least there's no more military officer men wearing pantyhose.

Schwarzkolf once said that the great ones from the Academies are already here, just waiting for their chance.

  11. The "Official Story" almost sounds like a second rate B Action Hero moovie script.
Just like the "Man on the moon" story from 60 years past - the long awaited re-make now rolling on screen. The fake "Covid 19" story proves that Mass Delusion Psychosis is real and is at actual pandemic proportions now among the Trumpenstein pedo fan club members and die hard Patriot zealot fools.. USA!! USA!! Extreme Religious dogma really destroys discernment. Mass hypnosis and programming - now perfected.

    1. And bin Laden being killed in Abaddabad; still waiting on footage from that. (If you want to) You can find footage of Saddam Hussein and Khaddafi having their mortal coil shuffled off of them, but you have to trust the (Obama) government 'we got 'em!" Does your trust get switched on and off depending on which party is empowered?

    2. Funny none of you folks use this phrasing when talking about those weddings and schools Obama & Biden drone-struck.

    3. Obama after a drone strike killed civilians in Afghanistan: "In situations of war, you know, we have to take responsibility when we're not acting appropriately,"
"Based on what I've seen, that was done by Iran," Trump stated on March 7, 2026, regarding the school strike. On March 9, 2026, Trump suggested other nations use Tomahawks, noting, "Well, I haven't seen it, and I will say that the Tomahawk, which is one of the most powerful weapons around is … sold and used by other countries. You know that. And whether it's Iran, (which) also has some Tomahawks. They wish they had more. But whether it's Iran or somebody else, the fact that a Tomahawk — a Tomahawk is very generic. It's sold to other countries. But that's being investigated right now."

Character matters. We all make mistakes. The difference is how one person reacts in light of mistakes made

  17. Rubbish. The pilot story was just that: a story. The real mission was to land those big planes and put boots on the ground to grab the uranium. Mission failed, with the loss of half a billion dollars worth or aircraft. Joke city. Roll on the mid-terms.

  18. Saving Private Ryan seemed more reasonable than all this. But I will always choose the country I live in to sort it out.

  19. When they make the movie make sure to include that these pilots were sent there by a mad man without a plan or strategy.
This war is making abundantly clear the difference between tactics and strategy. We have tactics. Our tactic is to hit any target Hegseth can point a finger at. The Iranians have a strategy. Their strategy is to hunker down, shut down the straight of Hormuz, make it VERY painful for everyone and wait until we get tired/midterm elections.
