And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I spent some time at my daughter's on the Gold Coast in Australia over Christmas. We were wandering along a path at the beach and in the small area of shrubbery one of these about the same size wandered across the path in front of us. It was the first time she'd seen one in the wild in her many years living there and freaked out a bit. I thought it was cool to see one in the wild.
I would most assuredly crap in my drawers if this monster was on my store!!!

ReplyDeleteI haven't had a reason to go to Thailand, but now it is completely out of the question.

Prolly rolled and smoked a fatty and now has the munchies. He’s alright. Just think of him as part of Spicoli’s crew.
