And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Looks like it but that island is more compact, like a gumdrop in the ocean. Saba’s pyramid shape sticks out from the view from St.Martin. This airstrip is about as crazy with the drop off after it ends, too. Not for the faint-hearted flyer!
I learned to fly off a grass runway that was part of a hayfield. A one way must land grass strip, not a fun landing. To add to the despair factor I learned in a Cessna 140, a taildragger.
