Extraordinary Entrance

  1. This image shows the intricately designed bronze doors of the Church of Saints Simon and Helena, commonly known as the Red Church, located in Minsk, Belarus.

The doors feature detailed bronze reliefs depicting scenes such as Adam and Eve with the Tree of Life.

Other reliefs on the doors illustrate episodes from the life of Saint Adalbert (Wojciech), a patron saint of Poland.

The church itself is a prominent Catholic landmark situated on Independence Square in Minsk.

The red brick facade surrounding the doors is characteristic of the church's neo-Romanesque architecture.
