And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Central Pacific Railroad near Salt Lake City, Utah around 1869
Too bad this isn't in color. Red, green, maybe both with gold trim. Brass fittings and wow look at that cross on the sand dome. Crosshead water pump, single note whistle, headlight big as a cupboard and wheels tall as a man. You'd have to be pretty brave to run that at 60mph on that light track.
UP's Big Boy is supposed to be coming east later this month.
