And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Garbled AI interpretation of the old Apache Junction main drag. Note all the miss-spellings and traffic on wrong side of the then unused, double yellow line. It was (is) called the Apache Trail and was known more for route 60 and 88, that goes NE along the Salt river. Grew up going through there once in a while - vaguely reminiscent - but I do not understand the attraction of garbled fake images like this when the real things are available online via many history sites. For example, Arizona has assembled a great library of documents and real images at https://azmemory.azlibrary.gov/.
Some of you commenters (Lookin' at you Anon 12:26 and Jack) are what keeps me chuckling at what our beloved host Mr. Swanson delivers up. Thanks to all!
We were on the real Apache Trail only yesterday. My late mother- and father-in-law are buried at a cemetery along the Trail and we were out there to clean and polish their grave marker.
This one screams AI! Nonsense signs, driveless Cars, Cars going the wrong way, three lane Road with angle parking in one Lane, etc.
ReplyDeleteBTDT, but the coffen berbby was better in East Thorphamton, Muntania of Route 67-13 when I passed through back in 19E$.

Please, a website without AI pictures.
ReplyDeleteWouldn't it be nicer to view an obvious AI image and you just scroll past it. No comment. No fuss. No muss.
DeleteIt is CW's blog.
