    1. First we push the people out of their lands and concentrate them onto reservations, even while keeping their image in our broader cultural mythos. Now we push their cultural images out of the broader cultural mythos.... Land O' Lakes butter: got rid of the Native American maiden cause it was offensive, kept the butter. (Also lost a great commercial artwork demonstrating the concept of smaller and smaller infinities).

    2. I highly recommend that you read the book, "Wilderness Empire" and educate yourself on the so-called "Indian Problem" in North America. The so-called Native Americans were just as guilty and the European settlers.

  3. Chippewa boots, once made in the native Wisconsin tribe's home state now makes a very limited selection of boots in right-to-work Missouri and a bigger selection overseas.
