And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? I didn't wear these as a kid in the 60's, but started wearing them in the 80's because they were cheap. You could get a pair for $10-15. Then the price doubled and kept going up and I realized they really pinched my toes and wore out really fast. Not worth the price anymore.
Had an aunt worked at the Everett Ma. factory, in the late 60's they paid her $25 an hour to sit in a huge heated room, around 125F, applying and vulcanizing the round logo on sneakers. They did it in short stints, rotating teams, give them a chance to cool down. If I remember it all right.
