And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
In 1963 we went thru Yellowstone and the bears did that, they liked cigarettes too. My dad stopped, the bear got up and looked in the window, my mom leaped to my dad's lap and made some noise. Dad laughed and we drove on. Fast forward to 1991. I'm taking my family to Yellowstone and telling the kids about the bears, bears everywhere! No bears anymore, they keep them out of the valley now.
Does da bear get handed a treat or pull it out of the window on its own?
