    1. I have read that the wing generated 650-750lbs downforce in the wind tunnel depending on wind speed and angle-of-attack. Underneath the mounting points on the rear quarters a pair of braces transferred the downforce to the rear subframe.

    2. Yea, over 212 mph average at Talleda in a test run. I would say that pretty
      much proved it. Still holds that record by the way.

  6. One of these in "Richard Petty Blue" was the first thing I saw when I reached my exit to Cocoa Beach, FL back in Dec. of 1979.
    It was driven by a woman about 35 to 40 years old, and the sight of her driving that car made me know I was going to enjoy living in Florida.

  9. So good it was banned by nascar like everything else that's good. Video on youtoob of a 1970 super bird doing 210mph. Yeah it works.
