And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I had two Beagles growing up, Frick and Frack, little asshole were escape artists.
No matter what I did I couldn't keep them in their day pen (only for when I was at school), and would routinely be pulled out of class to corral our cows because they were running the legs off them.
Finally my dad and I waited behind the barn to see how they were getting out. They literally would link snout to tail and fling each other over the high fence!
That was the end of them, we had to give them away. Still every time I thought of them afterwards, the music from the Great Escape cooler king scene would play in my head as I imagined their new owners busting them yet again!
