Of course, now government revenge is certainly being planned. I expect that frogs will somehow be found on the landowner's property, and seizure initiated. If there is actual resistance, then we know how the government will react. The only question will be whether Harry Reid or one of his spawn will in the end own the property, or have it sold directly to the Chinese.
Good for the Andersons, but
ReplyDeleteThe research will be done and the findings will support the predetermined findings to insure further funding of the research. Therefore it is a given that the frog will be found on your property and measures will be taken to take over your property in any manner that supports the research. All mitigation costs will be the sole responsibility of the property owner.
Then again, Mr. Anderson could survey his own property and remove any of the reptiles in question to a safe and ecologically suitable alternate location. Since his land would then be free of Foothill Yellow-Legged frogs, and Mr. government employee will go away. Unless, tragically, a bear found him while he was out looking for frogs.
ReplyDeleteI find the use of the phrase ". . .Harry Reid or one of his spawn..." to be particularly apt.
ReplyDeleteIt would be horrible if one or more of the survey team found the pungee sticks and Bouncing Betty's by accident while looking for frogs.
