And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

They all bring back wonderful memories. I had that same VW van in SOCAL and I camped up and down the coast from Encinitas to Half Moon Bay in it. I was camping alone back in those days so mine had a leather club chair in the back with a reading lamp. I could park with a good view with the side door wide open, the moon roof rolled back and relax anywhere away from the works of man.
