Detroit abandoned, then tore down, complete with books, a major library.

In follow up to the article above, this bit of dark history.

This Flicker Photo essay by Brandon Davis shows how the combined impact of municipal corruption, fiscal incompetence, and superstitious belief in junk science actually resulted in the neglect and finally the abandonment and demolition of a major branch library in Detroit, complete with shelves and books. Nobody could enter the place to salvage anything. The black mold bogey and the asbestos monster might eat them.

Substitute the nation's financial health, the family, national morals, and a host of other things, for Detroit, and you will see the ultimate end of America if the Progressives have their way with our country.

The same library, 1940.  A proud civic ornament.

    1. Worse than animals. Who could turn that beautiful building, built to make the collected wisdom of mankind available to everyone, into a ruin. It takes a special kind of wickedness that animals don't possess.
